Warmth & CheerThere’s something about this card which makes me think of sitting in front of a log fire with a cosy jumper on!  Ok and maybe a glass of Shiraz!

It must be the Cable Knit Embossing Folder, Gold Glimmer Paper and Cherry Cobbler accents!  We’re going to be making this card at my next Craft & Coffee Evening at Bay Leaves Larder in Chandlers Ford along with a cute table favour.  I didn’t buy the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper (DSP) for sometime – my upline Liz Shannon quotes me to her customers as saying ‘Delightful Dijon has no place in Christmas!’  Ok, I admit it’s not my favourite and it has no place in MY Christmas BUT as always with Stampin’ Up DSP, there’s a fabulous print on the reverse side.  I adore this DSP and it comes in the handy 6″x 6″ stack so is great for making cute bags and favours too.  Here’s how I made the card…

I layered Cherry Cobbler Cardstock onto a Whisper White Notecard then added a further layer of Whisper White which I’d embossed using the Cable Knit Embossing Folder.  I punched a 2″ x 3.5″ tag with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, sponged the edges and stamped the sentiment from Tin Of Tags in Cherry Cobbler.  I punched the base with the Confetti Stars Border Punch and adhered a 2″ x 1.75″ piece of Gold Glimmer Paper behind with Glue Dots before rounding the corners with the Project Life Corner Punch.  I popped a length of Cherry Cobbler Silky Taffeta Ribbon through and made a bow using Warmth & Cheer DSO and the Bow Builder Punch. Finally I added a couple of star sequins and popped the tag onto the card with dimensionals. xx
