How to make a notepad cover using Flower & Fields DSP

I haven’t made a notebook cover in such a long time and thought it would be a great way to use some of my Flower & Fields Designer Series Paper from Sale-a-bration.

These make great little gifts or party favours and use such a small amount of supplies.  You can prep the cardstock and papers in advance and put them altogether at a later date.  I ordered the notepads from The Range but you can also get them from Amazon.  For this project, I used Flower & Fields Designer Series Paper from the current Sale-a-bration offering.  The sentiment, from Butterfly Gala,  was perfect for this but you could use whatever you have in your stash or even leave it blank.  I finished it off with a couple of tiny butterflies using the Butterfly Duet punch and of course some bling!  One in Basic Black and the other in Basic White, brushed with a little Pool Party Ink using the new Blending Brushes.  Why not make up a few to have some pretty but inexpensive presents ready to give to your friends?

Here’s how I made it…
