Every now and then simplicity is best and that’s what I had in mind for this Meadow Moments Butterfly Card. Just simple layers to compliment the main feature.
I’ve embossed the Pool Party layer and one side of the Basic White layer with one of the new Meadow Moments Embossing Folders. These are great value at just £7.50 and fit both Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machines. You get 2 in a pack, 1 a design of scattered leaves and the other a mix of butterflies, leaves and flowers. With them you can create great backgrounds for so many cards. The Basic White layer sits on a Sahara Sand border.
You can see in more detail in this close up picture just how pretty and delicate the embossing is. This is the biggest detailed butterfly in the in the Brilliant Wings Dies. Again, I’ve used Pool Party Cardstock and added a triple fold of Pool Party Sheer Ribbon behind. The little greeting is from Sweet As A Peach stamp set – this set has some fab sentiments along with the peachy images (coordinating dies available too). And then we need a touch of sparkle right? I added a few Champagne Rhinestones for the finishing touches. A perfect card for a birthday, anniversary, thinking of you or just to say ‘hi’.
