Balloon Celebration With Honeycomb We can’t agree here at Fairy HQ which balloon we like best on this card!

My eldest, Maddison likes the Whisper White with a hint of Blushing Bride but my little Bo loves the Mint Macaron!  What do you think?  Either way, how cute are these Honeycomb Embellishments?  Thankfully, they’re still available until the end of May so if you want to make this card, click on the supply list below and it’ll take you straight to my shop.  Here’s how I made it…

Cut a piece of portrait A4 Crumb Cake Cardstock in halve and score to make the cardbase.  On a 5 7/8″ x 3 5/8″ piece of Whisper White, stamp the 2 dandelion images from Balloon Celebration in Blushing Bride randomly – I stamped off once each time to get a more subtle shade.  Add to the base leaving ¼” border down each side.  Adhere 5 5/8″ x 1 ½” Blushing Bride Cardstock at an angle.  On a piece of 5 3/8″ x 1¼” Whisper White, stamp ‘Let Us Celebrate’ from Balloon Celebration Stamp Set in Basic Black Archival Ink as the balloon string.  Sponge around the edges in Blushing Bride and add your favourite Honeycomb Embellishment.  I sponged the white one lightly with Blushing Bride ink.  Tie a bow in Bakers Twine (oops!  I had Blushing Bride in my stash which is retired – Whisper White is a great alternative) and fix with a glue dot just under the base of the Honeycomb.   Add this layer to the card using dimentionals.  If you want to post this, stick one side of the Honeycomb to the card but leave for your recipient to open xx
