Sometimes I need to design a simple card for my class to balance out more complex ones.
This is exactly how this Triple Panel Layered Card came about. I also wanted to show a way to use up scraps of designer series paper to save wasting any.
I love non uniform cards so I chose to offset the widths of DSP to add some interest.
The background was kept very simple with just an extra layer of Basic White Cardstock.
How pretty are the papers? They’re an Online Exclusive called Floral Expressions and come in 12″ x 12″ Sheets. I decided to keep one of the panels neutal so embossed Basic White Cardstock with one of the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders. These were adhered to Pool Party Cardstock leaving around 1/8″ gap.
As there’s Misty Moonlight in the papers, I gave my ladies a choice of Misty Moonlight or White Ribbon.
I used my ever faithful Stylish Shapes Dies for the banner with a simple ‘For You’ greeting in Misty Moonlight. Opal Rounds Assortment bling finished the card beautifully.
