I just love the sentiments and delicate thinlits in the Eastern Beauty Bundle!
I think it’s fair to say that whilst most of us demonstrators are completed addicted to Stampin’ Up!, there are some products that just don’t do it for us. I have to say, the Eastern Palace Suite was one of these. Although I loved the colours individually, collectively it’s too dark for my style so it didn’t make my wish list. But I did love the sentiments and thought if I was going to buy the stamp set, it made sense to buy the bundle (saving 10%!). I’m so pleased I did! I put my own twist on it and I love the results! Here’s how I made this card which I’m sending out to everyone who ordered with me in June…
Using the Whisper White Note cards, stamp the outer ring in Blushing Bride, slightly higher than the middle of the card. Open out the note card, centre the biggest Eastern Medallions Thinlit over the stamped image and run through the Big Shot. Stamp ‘Enjoy Today’ in Blushing Bride onto Whisper White Cardstock and punch out with the 1 ¼” Circle punch. Punch a Gold Foil Sheet circle using the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch and layer the sentiment onto this using a dimensional. Add both layers to the card also using dimensionals (tip…if layering with more than 1 demensional, you will need a large letter stamp if posting). I finished the card with the cute star Washi Tape from the new Basics Pack 1. xx
