I think we all find male cards a bit more tricky so I thought I’d show you my creation from this Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set, Sky Is The Limit.
You can easily use the stamp set to make more feminine cards too and it has some great sentiments for birthdays, congratulations, love and flourishing – super versatile!
Here’s what I did…
Cut a regular size card blank from 1/2 piece of A4 Thick Whisper White Cardstock. Cut a 3 3/8″ x 3 3/8″ square of Pool Party Cardstock and adhere to the card base at an angle. Cut a 3″ x 3″ piece of Perfectly Artistic DSP (Sale-a-Bration) in Soft Sky and stamp the plane and the clouds onto it in Basic Gray Archival Ink. Cut a frame in Whisper White Cardstock using the 3rd and 5th largest squares from the Squares Collection Framelits. Attach to the stamped image using the edge pieces of dimensionals and add 3 Basic Gray Candy Dots in the right hand corner. Cut a 3 ¼” x 1″ strip of Smokey Slate Cardstock and punch the left side using the Banner Triple Punch. Stamp ‘Happy Birthday’ from Sky Is The Limit Stamp Set in Basic Black Archival Ink on the far left and stick at an angle over the Pool Party Cardstock, as close to the edge of the card as possible to ensure the sentiment is seen. Finally, add some snail to the back of the DSP under the frame and attach to the card. Perfect card for one of the boys!
