Merry Moments Treat Basket
This was one of the first baskets I ever made when I first discovered Stampin’ Up! and I still love it!

I found the video instructions originally on Angie Kennedy Juda’s Chic’n’Scratch site – she’s an American demo and is just amazing.  I added some twists of my own so here’s how I did it…

6″ x 6″ Cherry Cobbler Cardstock scored at 2″ on all 4 sides.  Take your Simply Scored Diagonal Scoring Plate (reduced to £8.25 on this week’s Weekly Deals until Tues 29th Sept) and score from each corner to the scorelines.  Fold all of the straight scorelines.  Cut 4 1 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ pieces from the Merry Moments DSP Stack and stick onto the centre of each edge as in the photo.MM Basket Then punch little stars using the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack on each of the DSP Sections.  Gently pinch the corners inwards and whilst together, punch holes using the 1/8″ circle punch (or you can to this without folding and lining up the holes)  Be careful not to punch the holes too close to the corners as they may tear when you thread the ribbon through.  Thread White 5/8″ Satin Ribbon through each pinched corner and the basket should start to draw together as you go and tie a single knot.  Stamp the ‘To From’ sentiment from the Merry Everything Stamp Set in Cherry Cobbler and punch using the coordinating Note Tag Punch.  Punch again using the gorgeous Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and mount at an angle under the stamped tag using a dimensional.  Use a couple of the punched out stars to add a little decor to the label.  Loop through a length of Cherry Cobbler Thick Bakers Twine, tie at the ends and slide over the Satin Ribbon.  Tie a final knot in the White Satin Ribbon and fill your basket with treats!  If you would like to make this cute basket, please see the supplies you will need below – click on any one and it’ll take you directly to my online shop.  Tracy x
