Frequently Asked Questions

I appreciate signing on the dotted line can be daunting so I’ve put together a list of questions people often have before joining.  Of course if you have a question I haven’t answered, please do get in touch

Q. If I sign up to be a demonstrator, do I have to sell or teach?

Not at all. Everyone’s welcome in my team! You can be your own best customer and enjoy the 20% discount and additional benefits we receive as demonstors.  You’ll get exclusive access to the Stampin’ Up! demonstrator website, online groups and become part of a fun crafting community.  Of course if you’d like to run your own business, I’m here to offer you all the support you need.

Q. What do I get in my starter kit and how much does it cost?

For £99 (129€), you choose £130 (175€) worth of Stampin’ Up! goodies – absolutely anything you want from the current range.  You’ll also be sent a business pack worth £40 (60€) which contains handy stuff like catalogues!

Q. I’m not local to you, can I still join your team?

Absolutely!  You can join my team wherever you live in the UK, France, Germany, Austria & The Netherlands.  And thanks to technology, you’ll receive my full support and training

Q. Are there any sales targets to meet?

To remain an active demonstrator you have quarterly minimum sales targets of £270 (£225 with your discount) to meet.  When you first join howver, you have the rest of the quarter you join in plus the full next quarter to give you time to settle in.

Q. What happens if I don’t meet my minimums?

You will be given an extra month to try and achieve them but if you don’t, you just keep what you’ve bought along the way.  At this point you will become an inactive demonstrator.

Q. If I become inactive, can I rejoin Stampin’ Up!?

Most definately! We know things in life sometimes get in the way and we’d love to have you back.  You can join the same team immediately after becoming inactive and select a new starter kit.  If you want to join a different team, you’ll need to wait 90 days.

Q. I’m not sure I can meet there minimums.  Where can I get ideas to help me?

Our team are great at sharing ideas and inspration and as your upline, I’m here to support you all the way.  There’s an area on the Stampin! Up! website which is dedicated to new demonstrators.  It’s full of useful information including where to find new customers.

Q. What if I decide I no longer want to be a demonstrator? Am I tied in?

Not at all.  Of course I’d love you to stay in my team but there’s never any pressure to remain a demonstrator.  At the end of the current quarter you would go into ‘pending’ if you haven’t met your minimums.  You will then become inavtive the following month.  You simply keep everything you’ve bought to date – there’s no obligation to return anything to Stampin’ Up!

Want to make it into a business?

What better way to make a living than from playing with craft supplies? Ok, so there’s a bit more to it than that but it’s absolutely possible to make some extra cash for treats or even to make it your full time job and cover all the bills.

In addition to all of the above perks of becoming a demonstrator, you can…

  • Increase your commision and earn or take your business to the next level volume rebates
  • Earn team commision
  • Achieve performance bonus
  • Join The Inker Belles business builders group where I can help you transform your hobby into a business
  • Access training from Stampin Up!
  • Do it YOUR way!  Want to teach in person – great!  Prefer online – fab!  Or maybe both.  Full time or part time – the choice is yours to build your business around your life and commitments.  There’s never any pressure to do something you don’t want to do.
