Oh My! How cute is this Simply Elegant Mini Handbag? As soon as I saw the Simply Elegant Speciality Designer Series Paper I knew I’d be using it for lots of 3D projects. I love designing bags and boxes! This Mini Handbag is perfect for wedding favours, jewellery, folded money or little sweets. And because it uses such a small amount of paper, you can get 6 from 1 sheet of 12″ x 12″ DSP! There’s also an amazing punch in the suite plus a very pretty stamp set. You could create different styles by putting the handle on top or making it into a backpack.
I actually changed the closure in the video as the brad was just a little too fiddly. The Simply Elegant Trim did the job perfectly. You can see here I used the Delightful Tag Topper Punch for the flap. It’s such a versatile punch! I’ve scored the sides like an actual handbag would look. The photos don’t show fully just how gorgeous these papers are. They’re metallic on one side and matt on the other. I’m planning to make a bigger version soon as I think it would be great for a gift card. Take a look at the video link below for all of the measurements and how to build the bag.
