Happiest Of Birthdays Meets Nature’s Roots Card.
I do love mixing up our products on cards. Stampin’ Up! are brilliant at creating suites and bundles which perfectly match up products but it’s fun to mix and match too! I’ve loved using the Brushed Metallics Cardstock on my Autumn projects and they were perfect once again for the leaves from Nature’s Roots Dies. As well as the leaf shaped cut outs in this set, you get embossing dies for each too along with various trees. There are other leaf dies in the Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue but I had these already in my stash. They’ve been around for a few years so I do wonder if they might retire in the next annual catalogue? So time to use them in case they do!
This is an all occasion card based on a design from Mary Fish. I created it with birthdays in mind but my sister used hers for our parents’ anniversary card. 53 years they’ve been married! Happiest Of Birthdays is my go to stamp set if I need a good sized sentiment.
This is one of the projects in my October Classes By Post kits. My sister could never attend my in person classes as she lives 1 ½ hours away from me but she loves that she can take part now they’re available in kit form with accompanying YouTube step by step instructions. Do get in touch if you’d like to order my monthly kits – just £10 plus £2 p&p for 3 project kits. I provide all the scored cardstock, papers and embellishments and you just need to use your own stamps, ink and adhesives. You can buy these from my online shop or even use alternatives you have at home.
