Snowflakes and stars – just perfect to mark the end of British Summertime!
I know not everyone shares my excitement of the clocks turning back an hour. My husband hates it as it mean summer’s officially over! For me, it marks the start of my favourite time of year…Christmas! This candle would make a beautiful festive ornament or gift and it’s so easy to make. I should point out here, please don’t light the candle with the adornments on it! Take a 1 1/4″ x 8 1/4″ strip of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and punch using the Confetti Stars Border Punch. Wrap around the candle, overlapping the ends and fix with Tear & Tape. Press a Snowflake Element into Versa Mark and cover with Heat & Stick Powder. Shake off the excess and heat until shiny using the Heat Tool. Sprinkle with Gold Stampin’ Glitter and heat again to seal the powder. Finally, take a length of Gold Cording Trim and wrap around the centre of the cardstock. Thread the ends through the holes either side of the snowflake and tie into a bow. x
