I was so happy to see Festival Of Trees back this year!
I hope you noticed it too as it was hiding in the annual catalogue . I paired it up with the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies for this simple and clean card. Here’s what I did. Cut a card base from Thick Whisper White. Layer with 3 5/8″ x 5 3/8″ whisper white and punch a tree towards the left using the tree punch. Position the layer where it will be and stamp through the tree shaped gap using Festival Of Trees in Archival Black Ink. Stamp the same image onto a scrap, punch out and layer slightly over the tree window. Wind Gold Metallic Thread around the right side of the layer 3 times and secure on the back with a glue dot. Either thread gold sequins (Metallic Sequins) onto the metallic thread before securing or as I did, glue them with the Fine Tip Glue Pen afterwards. Cut Merry from the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies in Gold Foil and adhere with the Fine Tip Glue Pen – just perfect for this job! Finish the trees with stars from the Metallic Sequins and pop your layer onto the card base with dimensionals. Be sure to put dimensionals around the tree cut out to ensure it doesn’t sag and voila!
