Did you know the gorgeous Bundle Of Love Designer Series Paper (DSP) is thicker than our regular DSP?
This makes it just perfect for making sturdy little bags and boxes as well as card fronts. I love that along with the Blushing Bride and Soft Sky sides which could be geared towards baby makes, each also has a gold side in the same pattern…just perfect for wedding/table favours and thank you gifts. I made this cute little tealight favour using the Envelope Punch Board and sent them as my thank you gifts for everyone who shopped with me in June. You can get 9 out of one sheet of DSP! Here’s how I made them…
Cut a 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″ square of Bundle Of Love DSP. Using the Envelope Punch Board, line up your DSP at the 1 ½” mark and punch & score. Slide it along to 2 3/8″ and punch & score. Rotate, line up the marker with the 1st score line and punch & score. Slide to the 2nd score line and punch & score. Repeat on all sides. Cut up the scorelines as in photo 1 below, just either side of one of the large tabs to create little squares and repeat on the opposing side. Attach glue dots or tear and tape to each little square (on the side folded over shown in photo 1) and fold up to build the box (photo 2)
Add some washi from the Basics Pack 1 to the tealight and pop in the box. Wrap a 5″ length of Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon around to secure the box and fix with Snail. Make sure it can slide on and off of the box. I stamped a little Thank You in Blushing bride and the surrounding circle of dots from the Eastern Beauty Bundle (Stamp Set also available to order as an individual item) to coordinate with my thank you card. Punch it out using the 1 ¼” circle punch and layer onto a Blushing Bride circle punched out with the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch with a dimensional. Add a glue dot to the dimensional before sticking to the ribbon for a stronger hold. xx
