It’s no secret that I’m in love with the Winter Wonderland suite…
…And the Gold Cording Trim. Ok, pretty much everything in the A/W Catalogue! But it’s just soooo pretty!
I’m so happy with how this card turned out and it’s super simple to make. Fold 1/2 a sheet of Basic Black A4 Cardstock in half. Add a piece of 5 1/2″ x 2″ vellum from the Winter Wonderland Vellum Stack down the side of the card. Cut 2 squares of Whisper White cardstock – the 1st 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ and the 2nd 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″. Stamp the tree image in Archival Basic Black ink onto the smaller of the pieces. Cover with a 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″ piece of the gold ‘snow’ vellum from the same stack. Emboss the larger piece of Whisper White using the stunning Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder then punch a 2 1/2″ circle in the centre. Use dimensionals to adhere to your stamped image. Decorate with Gold Cording Trim tied in a bow around a large Snowflake Element – be super careful as they’re a little fragile! Stamp your sentiment also from the Wonderland stamp set onto a piece of 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ Whisper White. Even though it’s a little skinny to fit into one of the guides of the Banner Triple Punch, I just centered it and punched either end. Finally, I curled the sentiment a little and adhered with glue dots. Hope you like it! x
