This was my last week of doing craft club this term at my girls’ school so I took in a little treat for each of them to say Merry Christmas from me!
They loved these cute bags made with the Gift Bag Punch Board – thanks to Angie Juda Kennedy for the decoration inspiration! To make these bags, cut a piece of 10″ x 5″ Whisper White (2 cut from 12″x 12″ sheet)- this will make the ‘small’ width bag on the Gift Bag Punch Board. You can adjust the height (the 5″ part) according to how tall you want your bag to be. Follow the instructions on the board, scoring and punching following the small bag guidelines. I decorated the bags before assembling them. Cut a 3.5″ x 2.5″ piece of Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum and adhere to the front of your bag. To make the Santa hat, use the Tree Punch (miss off the trunk) in Red Glimmer Paper. Use the Word Window Punch in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper for the trim. Stick them onto a Clothespin or mini bulldog clip using Tear & Tape. Stamp ‘Santa’s On His Way’ from Cup Of Cheer stamp set in Real Red and cut using the Lots Of Labels Framelits. Sponge the edges in real read and attach to the bag with dimensionals. Finish with a treat inside and a length of Real Red Pompom Trim! They loved them!
