This Triple Pop Up Cube Card may well be my favourite card I’ve designed this year!
It’s part of my Whimsy & Wonder Fancy Folds Christmas Special Class. It’s a series of 6 Fancy Fold Cards using the gorgeous Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper, Stamps and Dies.
This card needs to be given to somebody who will truly appreciate your work! Alternatively, keep it for yourself as a fab decoration to bring out year after year!
It’s hard to see in the photo but the sentiment is heat embossed in silver to give the card some extra sparkle. The holly leaves are also heat embossed then coloured with Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend for the berries. Christmas wouldn’t be complete without my Wink Of Stella making an appearance! You can use it to add sparkle to cardstock, DSP and stamped images. I dipped it in the corner of my Mint Macaron Ink Pad to colour the holly leaves.
Amazingly, this card folds flat and fits in a regular size envelope!
I finished the top of the card with a loop of our beautiful White Glittered Organdy Ribbon. I attached a Wonderful Snowflake onto the ribbon. I’m so happy they are carrying over into our annual catalogue next year! Finally, I cut one of the Stitched Snowflake Dies in Silver Foil Paper and popped it on top of the Wonderful Snowflake.
Isn’t it just such a pretty card!
It can look like quite a tricky card to make but once you get the hang of it, it really isn’t. I wanted to make it as easy as possible to recreate so I took some photos to show exactly where you need to add your Designer Series Paper on both the inside and outside of each cube. Having this visual will definitely help you.
